What is a LOT — and is it right for your shop?
A plain-language introduction to mixed wholesale lines and how they differ from retail singles.
A LOT is sold as a grouped quantity: one price for many pieces, often across mixed SKUs or grades. It is the wholesale mirror of “one barcode, one shelf.”
LOT buying fits sellers who can absorb variance: online multi-SKU stores, discount counters, and traders who already run sorting and QC.
If you need identical retail packaging on every unit, LOT may not be the right tool — and any honest supplier should say so early.
